You will take the mid term by accessing the exam under the “quizzes” icon. You will have only a single attempt to take the exam so do not log on until you are fully prepared. Once logged on you will have 80 minutes to complete the exam. When you log on to take the exam, you will be prompted to address ONE of the two essay questions randomly selected (there are no multiple choice / true-false questions). Your essay should include a concise conclusion.

You ARE NOT to use sources other than those provided for this course. The inclusion of outside sources will result in an “F” grade.

You must Directly and Fully address the question I ask (and not the question you choose to answer), otherwise you will receive only minimal credit for your submission. Note that question #1 has two distinct components you must address while #2 has three components you must address. To secure an “B” mark, you must demonstrate a basic command of the historical information, evidenced by your appropriate use of S
