Chapter 11
– How does the continued feminization of housework and childcare impact gender equality? Explain this phenomenon in your own words.
– Compare and contrast how a traditionalist, a neo-traditionalist, an egalitarian, and a dual-nurturer divides labor in the home. In the development of your answers, discuss factors that will influence the likelihood a couple will employ a particular strategy. Does the household you grew up in fit neatly within any of these frameworks?
