The Basics: 2 full pages, double-spaced, 1-inch margins, Times New Roman 12. Post your reading response as an attachment. Late reading responses will not be accepted.  Incomplete responses (including responses that are less than 2 pages) will receive, at most, partial credit. 

Unless otherwise specified in the assignment modules, each reading response (RR) should include a detailed summary of the key points of the reading in your own words. Do not use quotations or exact sentences from the reading.  Keep in mind that your reading response should demonstrate your understanding of the assigned text.

Summaries are generally formal writing-no opinions, no first person, no slang; however, you should use your own clear, ordinary language rather than trying to sound overly dramatic or philosophical.
