Sabrina Jenkins was born August 1, 1955. She attended the University of Miami and graduated in May of 1977. She begins working for an accounting firm and receives regular promotions and raises at her job. Sabrina retires from the accounting industry in 2017 after 40 years of employment and begins to work at a not-for-profit organization which seeks to provide non-medical care and benefits for children with rare diseases.

Sabrina met Jerry Alphin while at the University of Miami. Sabrina and Jerry were married in November of 1980. Jerry worked as a public-school teacher from 1977 until 2012 and then opened a coffee shop in their town. Sabrina and Jerry have two children. Will was born on February 12, 1983. Susan was born on March 13, 1986.
