Option #1: Diversity – Definition and Trends
During Module 1 and within the required readings, we explored the importance of diversity, the prevalence of workplace diversity, and how organizations can enhance organizational diversity. On Page 1 of Module 1, you were asked to develop your own definition of diversity. Based upon that definition, do the following:
1. Provide your individual definition.
2. Explain how your experiences with diversity have impacted/shaped your definition.
3. Using statistical research that has been conducted by governmental organizations, explain what diversity trends organizational leaders and HR need to be aware of.
4. Finally, explain how the trends identified may impact aspects of the workplace diversity at the individual, team, and organizational levels.
Submission Requirements
Write a 3- to 4-page paper, not including the title and reference pages, which are required.
You must support your analysis with at least three scholarly references which can include resources from this course.
