Appreciation Paper

To reinforce the learning opportunities provided by our Guest Experts, I am asking you to provide appreciation for what you remember most, what was most impactful and/or what you remain curious about when it comes to at least five of the seven Guest Experts we have had visit our class this semester.

Your comments will also allow me to send a detailed letter of appreciation to each of the Guest Experts who volunteered their time to speak and share their various areas of expertise with us. You are welcome to copy and paste any references you made to our Guest Experts in your Weekly or Semester End Gaves & Gains into the respective threads below — or simply write as you are inspired to do so, upon reflecting on our time together. Thank you for helping me be able to provide specific appreciation from the class as I know it will mean a lot to our Guest Experts 🙂

04/27 Guest Experts: Mark Mezadourian & Susan Cohen (Part II)
Im Mark Mezadourian, an intuitive specializing in connecting with the angels and guides. My work encompasses the core of all spiritual traditions peace and love and helps people realize their dreams and live a fulfilling life. The goal of the work is to access spirituality from a heart-centered yet practical perspective, and put it into action. Sessions and workshops focus on allowing our connection with angels and guides to be fluid and familiar through technique. Through this, we can create the conditions to live as our authentic and unique selves while we grow, excel and share our gifts with the world.

My work with guides and angels began slowly. At first, I would receive guidance mainly through numbers. That evolved into trusting what I received through claircognizance (knowing) and clairsentience (feeling). I attended workshops, read many books, talked with folks on the spiritual path and gradually began listening to the guidance I was receiving. In October, 2003, I attended Doreen Virtues Angel Therapy Practitioner   Course and have been giving readings to others ever since.

I was born in Pomona, California on November 30, 1967 and grew up mostly in Palo Alto, CA. Professionally, I have spent my life in the theatre, acting, directing and most recently playwrighting. In January, 1998, my spiritual life began in earnest. Multiple events (my beloved Grandmothers death, the end of a relationship and my home being violated) piled up, leading to an anxiety attack. That event made it very clear to me that how I lived my life was no longer serving me. My sister, Rachel, introduced me to Doreen Virtues work. My family has always been, consciously or not, intuitive and tuned into each other.

Asynchronous – Guest Experts: Juan Ros & Scarlett Sin

Juan Ros, one of the members of the church I belong to, Unity of the Oaks, offered a workshop on Planned Giving in February 2021. The workshop was recorded and I wanted to offer it here as an additional opportunity to earn points for this aspect of your grade, in case you happened to miss multiple classes with Guest Experts and are concerned about your ability to engage with at least five Guest Experts to secure the 20 points total that engaging with Guest Experts includes.

To secure the four points available for this particular opportunity, watch the recordings below and create a list of 7-10 questions you would ask Juan as a result of what you learned.

Scarlett Sin was one of the Guest Experts for RTM 330: Women, Leisure and Ethnicity in the United States this semester. And given the nature of what she shared and how it relates to Non Profit Organizations and Fund Development, I wanted to share the recording here as an additional opportunity to earn points for this aspect of your grade, in case you happened to miss multiple classes with Guest Experts and are concerned about your ability to engage with at least five Guest Experts to secure the 20 points total that engaging with Guest Experts includes.

You can thank them for their time, energy, expertise, insights, attention to details — you name it. You can thank them for what it provided you to learn from someone in the role they currently have or have held in the past. You can thank them for what what they shared got you thinking about in new ways. You can thank them for inspiring you to consider something you hadn’t previously considered. You can thank them for a resource they shared or a tip, tool or approach they offered. For the full six points for each Guest Expert I am looking for specific appreciation in the form of a few sentences or short paragraph.

You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.
