The Professional Issues and Trends assignment is designed to promote a more in-depth investigation of a current issue or trend that faces the field and to facilitate an analysis of the implications of specific courses of action or inaction.
Students will present a power point presentation on the issue or trend theyve selected, which may have an implication for Therapeutic Recreation. Presentations should be interactive and research based and should discuss the history of the issue, the current status of the issue, factors that affect the issue, as well as the implications of the issue on the practice of therapeutic recreation.  Make recommendations for future ways that RT can address this issue. Students will hand in a copy of their powerpoint presentation and a reference page with no less than 5 references. References must be from a professional source. (15  minutes) Due 4/26 (20%)
