(Please complete this assignment after completing Blog 2.)
Now that youve written 2 blogs and chosen a research question, you should have a much better sense of where your research is going. For this mid-blog reflection, you will submit an assignment to me (rather than a discussion board post to the class), and I will give you feedback, especially about the last bullet point below.
For your mid-blog reflection, answer these questions thoroughly:
1.What is your current research question? (Write it as a question.)
2.Is this question the same as the one you initially proposed, or has it evolved?
3.What have you learned so far that could offer potential answers to that research question? (Here, make specific references to the sources you’ve been working with.)
4.What have you learned so far that you had not previously considered when you were first beginning this research?
5.What unanswered questions do you still have? What do you still want/need to know in order to consider possible answers/solutions to your research question?
6.Think about a specific group of people or audience for your research. Who specifically does this research matter to and why? Here, do not say everyone. Instead, identify at least one specific group that would be particularly interested in your research question and the answers/solutions to this question. For example, if I were researching the effects of COVID-19 on an unborn fetus, then one of my specific audiences might be pregnant women. Another specific audience could be obstetricians (medical doctors who work with pregnant women, deliver babies, etc.). Who needs to know this information? Who has the power to act on this information?
