You will be assigned a city to work with in class; here is the list CP&PS City Assignments.pdfPreview the document. If you turn in a paper from another city, it will not be graded, so please stick with your assigned city.
Choose two Goldstein Award Finalist projects from 1993 to the present from your assigned city (or a city that is geographically close or similar in terms of population). You can find all of the projects at http://www.popcenter.org/library-goldstein.htm (Links to an external site.).
Read the two papers and review/critique the studies by:
Summarizing and comparing the SARA processes.
What other responses that could have been taken for each specific project to be more successful?
Were the projects successful? How do you know? How was success measured? Was the measure of success adequate? Did one project measure success better than another?
If the projects were implemented in our city/county, what steps or responses might need to change?
Please include web links to the studies you selected.
