This is a critical review of the attached paper. Follow the instructions below:

Organize your narrative in the following way:

– Short introduction mentioning the title,  author(s) and their scholarly background, when and where was the article published (journal, special issue pf journal, edited book etc.).

– Follow with a short but comprehensive description of the main points in the article.

– Evaluate author(s)’ approach(es) to the topic, sources, methods, discussion and conclusions.

– Help the evaluation process using additional sources (peer-reviewed, scholarly article only.)

– Summarize your assessment of the article, its scholarly (anthropological) as well as the broader significance beyond archaeology and anthropology (i.e., public, regulatory, political, etc. when and if applicable). Click for more options

– Add a list of additional references you used to help evaluation process. Only list the references that you used first hand. If the author of an article (for example Oldham 2018) cites another author’s work, (for example Binford’s) and you want to use that citation, then you may say, for example:  “According to Binford, as cited in Oldham (2018), ethics in archaeology is an important issue….”.
